Pride of place on Tottenham Court Road since 1840, the Heal’s home furnishings store sells a range of furniture, lighting and home accessories.
Innovations brought to London over the years by Heal’s include the introduction of French-style feather-filled mattresses in the early 1800’s, Ambrose Heal’s Arts and Crafts-style furniture in the late 1800’s, the sale of electric lighting in the early 1900s and of radical Bauhaus furniture in the 1930s.
Their range now includes sofas, home furniture of all types and rooms, lighting, home accessories, rugs and even garden furniture.
