London’s oldest bookshop, established in 1797 by John Hatchard, it has occupied the current building at 187 for over two centuries.
Holding three Royal Warrants, many generations of customers and booksellers have come and gone since the shop first opened its doors.
Hatchards offer a vast array of signed copies and also stock a range of first and fine editions, including modern and classic fiction, poetry, travel writing, history and biography, with the occasional oddity, rarity or whim.
